Utilizing User Datagram Protocol (UDP), with Groovesetter you can easily set up audio-over-IP local networks (LAN) with latency below 1ms, and wide area networks (WAN) with latency as low as 5ms

Security and encryption

No port forwarding and no open ports on your router. Groovesetter encrypts all communication when you create your network with AES encryption for end-to-end security. Every p2p channel stays private, and you control real-time signal routing and recording of your audio.

User authentication

Secure authentication between registered users is relayed through the Groovesetter back-end servers to facilitate a direct peer to peer multi-channel audio communication with the host of the session

Industry standard metadata

Full session report available for each session, including timestamps showing who was part of the session, what role they played, who performed which musical work, who played which instrument, ownership assignment, additional credits, recording information  and more.
